On this page you will find a wide range of songs, raps and poetry performed by pupils at the schools we have been working with. For inspiration to get students started on writing poetry, we've a film we recommend you can show in class which is by the juggling poet setting out top tips in a fun way here. Also, Historyworks produced a film with Michael Rosen about how he started finding ideas to start his Cambridge poem about the Fitzwilliam Lions, about what they may see and hear, sitting outside a museum for hundreds of years, and this model is one we recommend for the place-making poems the children are working on in Cambridge, to use the five senses about the places and people, objects and animals, they've chosen as the subjects of their pieces to pin on our history trails! Here is the film with Michael Rosen about composing his poem about the Fitz Lions: https://vimeo.com/113842178
